As a teenager in Lima, Ohio he was an Eagle Scout and was elected as the International President of Aleph Zadik Aleph, the youth organization of the B'nai B'rith. In high school he was an Ohio State debate champion and was selected to serve in the Naval Reserve Officers Training Program. He graduated Ohio State University as a member of Sphinx, the senior men's honorary society. At Ohio State he was the Big Ten Debate Champion, business manager of a college magazine, and a member of four honorary societies for scholarship, public speaking and accounting. He received degrees in Business Administration in accounting and Juris Doctor in law. While in law school he began the development of new memory systems to assist himself in advancing his legal education. At Ohio State he also worked at a number of jobs to pay for his education. Dr. Mike practiced law in Dayton, Ohio. He started teaching hypnosis to doctors and developed a desire to become a doctor. He attended night school at the University of Dayton to earn his pre-medical credits. As Mr. T he also began presenting hypnosis stage shows throughout the state of Ohio. As part of his show he performed dazzling memory acts utilizing his memory systems. In 1963 he was selected as one of five out-of-state-residents to attend Medical School at the University of Miami, Florida. While in medical school he wrote his first book, "Hypnosis Induction Technics." After 45 years, this book still is on sale by Charles Thomas Co, Publishers. Mike worked his way through medical school, even while his wife gave birth to their second child. In 1968 Dr. Mike commenced medical practice in Miami, where he was elected the Florida State President of the B'nai B'rith and the Chairman of the National B'nai B'rith Youth Commission. As part of his Board Certified family medical practice, he dispensed advice on sex to many of his patients. In 1977 he moved to Los Angeles, CA, where he practiced medicine and continued to help people with sexual relationship problems. In 1999 he wrote his second book, "Master Your Memory With Dr. Amazing - How Not to Forget." This book is the finest book on memory systems ever to have been published, and it is still in print. As Dr. Amazing, Dr. Mike is the world's foremost memory expert. He performed memory acts that no one else can do. He traveled the length and breadth of North America presenting memory improvement seminars to boards of education, corporate groups and colleges. Dr. Amazing also re-started his hypnosis stage show career, traveling across the country with his wife, Gemini, performing as a stage hypnotist. He appeared as a hypnotist on TV shows such as "Blind Date" and "Dismissed." He hypnotized Anna Nicole Smith on her cable show. In 2000 Dr. Mike began another
career on the side - acting. In 2005 he went on to the Internet with www.HelpingDoctors.com , the website where people from throughout the English speaking world sent in questions on sexual relationships. Dr. Amazing answered every question without charge. Compiling most of these questions and his answers, he published his third book, "Sex With Dr. Amazing - Solving Bedroom Problems."
