In 1907, railroad and stockman Charles Krug and his family moved into their new home. Natural light flooded the huge windows and made rainbows through the leaded glass. Quarter-sawn oak gleamed with honey colors. Carvings on the stairway and fireplaces were smooth to the touch. Massive doors hung in the high-ceilinged rooms.

It's still pretty much the way it was. Jim and Katherine Lee welcome the visitor to the spacious accommodations.
