Built in 1985, until 2004 the cabin was used only by family members. Now Paul and Susan Seastrand are pleased to make it available for others to enjoy the inspiration of the Shields Valley stretched between the Crazy and Bridger Mountains. The house has a cozy 1450 square feet on a main floor and two lofts. Each loft has a double bed (one having an additional futon bed), and the third bedroom is on the main level. A cathedral ceiling rises above the dining area, kitchen, hearth and woodstove. On the main floor there is also a study and sofa with a view eastward, and a sun room with sofa, easy chairs, and TV/VCR looking out to the back and to the western horizon. The bathroom has a shower. A long covered deck off the main entrance presents views to the north, east and west, and off the sun room is a small patio. A washer and dryer are provided, as well as bedding, kitchen supplies, CD player, outdoor barbeque, and some western reading. |
