The great variety of subject matter Larry chooses for his artwork reflects his vast array of interests in life.  From nostalgic scenes of Americana with a Western flavor, to aviation, vintage motorcycles, historical themes and teddy bears, the artist loves and has studied them all.

About his work Larry says: "I want to communicate a feeling of nostalgia, an appreciation of things past and things about to pass, to remember...

Born in Springfield, Illinois, in l940, Larry attended the San Francisco Academy of Art and served as an illustrator in the Air Force with the 78th Field Maintenance Squadron at Hamilton Air Force Base in California.

Since 1977 he has dedicated himself full time to fine art.

Sleeping In

 Kootenai Galleries is Montana's largest privately owned art gallery. We've been Western Montana's exclusive representative for many nationally recognized fine artists since 1972.
