Don't look into my eyes
Background
Info on Past Stage Performances:
Hypnosis Shows
Dr. Amazing presented fabulous comedic hypnosis
shows tailored to the needs of the show sponsors. For recent high school grads, he
presented a very clean show that moved quickly from one act to another, keeping the
audience on the edges of their seats.
For private adult parties, he presented shows with
adult content. His versatility has amazed audiences throughout the English speaking
world for over 40 years.
Dr. Amazing has been called the greatest living
American stage hypnotist and mentalist. There is no doubt that he has
been the dean of
American hypnotists, having acquired hypnotism and mental skills from the greats such as Dunninger and Dr. Polgar, the leading mentalists of the first half of the 20th Century.
Dr. Amazing conducted his shows with co-hypnotist,
Gemini, who led the hypnotized subjects to perform as Miss America contestants and as
the Big Spenders.
Memory Shows
Dr. Amazing's memory show lasted up
to one hour and it was a completely different performance than his hypnosis shows. He
performed demonstrations of memory recall that no one else in the world can do.
When the audience gave Dr. Amazing
any number between 60 and 100, he could instantly compute the numbers to be placed in a
square containing sixteen smaller squares so that every column, every row, each of the
diagonals, the four corner squares and the four center squares all added up to the number
chosen by the audience.
And this without Dr. Amazing looking at the squares!
Dr. Amazing could move the chess
knight around the chess board so that it jumps to every one of the 64 squares without
landing on any square more than once. He would start from any square chosen by the
audience, and he could do it blindfolded!
To the astonishment
of the audience, Dr. Amazing
would remember a number consisting of up to 20 digits when he recalled the powers of two up to
the 64th power.
At the beginning of the memory
show, Dr. Amazing would give a number to many members of the audience. During the
performance, he would don a blindfold and tell each person what number was assigned to him.
Memory Improvement
Seminars/Workshops
Dr. Amazing's memory improvement
seminars delt with basic concepts of how not to forget. He showed you how to
introduce yourself and how to remember the name and face of the person you are meeting.
He taught how to remember dates
and appointments, long numbers, telephone numbers, and long lists of items. He
detailed the hook method and the link method of memorization. He spelled out how to
deliver speeches without the use of notes.
As part of his seminars, Dr.
Amazing gave remarkable demonstrations of recalling information that every ordinary mind
is capable of achieving.
