CLIMATE:                 Temperatures can range from summer highs in the 90's

                                   can occur in all seasons, but summer is usually dry and
                                   warm during the day and cool at night.  Winter is generally
                                   cold, but with many clear days.  The climate is characterized
                                    by low humidity which moderates the heat in summer and the
                                   cold in winter.
