Dear Screenwriter:

Due to numerous requests, the American Accolades is pleased to announce the launch of Accolades TV, a screenwriting competition for television writers
around the globe.

Like its big brother, the American Accolades Screenwriting Competition,
Accolades TV aims to launch writers' careers by placing promising material
in the hands of agents and executives in the Hollywood community.  In
addition to industry contacts, this competition offers over $2,000 in cash
and prizes.

The four competition categories include:

½-hour existing show
½-hour pilot
1-hour existing show
1-hour pilot/2-hour MOW

Entries for this competition are due July 31, 2000.  Winners will be
announced in Winter 2000, then posted on our TV Screenwriting Hall of Fame webpage.   For more information, please visit our website at:

www.AmericanAccolades.com

For those writers who have entered the American Accolades Screenwriting
Competition, we know you are anxious for feedback about where you stand.
Currently our judges have completed the scoring for approximately 300
screenplays out of the 600+ submissions.  For those writers who wish to
sneak a screenplay in under the wire, our final, extended screenwriting
entry deadline is March 25, 2000.

We intend to have all screenwriting competition entries evaluated in April
and we will make first-round cuts and promote semi-final round screenplays
at that time.  Screenwriters who advance to the semi-finals in April will
learn if they make the finals in May.  Writers who do not make the
semi-final cut will receive brief commentary stating what judges perceived
their greatest strength and weakness to be.  To put this commentary in
perspective, we also intend to inform writers about where they stand in
relation to their screenwriting peers (e.g., top 20% of entries).

As stated on our website and on MovieBytes, we intend to announce our
screenwriting winners at the end of Spring 2000 (June).

Best of luck in competition.
