"THE WIND"

Synopsis:

Art Decco, America's hottest Private Investigator, is on the case.

Two  girls, Candy eighteen, and Megan thirteen, have escaped from a horror so terrifying, that they will do whatever it takes to keep from being captured. Held captive, the two girls were drugged and forced into a game of sadistic and hedonistic sex played out by some of the richest and most powerful people in Canada.

On the run, the two girls have fled to Los Angeles freeing themselves from the humiliation and torture they have had to endure. Robbed of their dignity and childhood, the two girls have tasted freedom and no one will ever take it away from them again.

Using the influence of the Canadian government, Art Decco, America's best known private investigator, is hired to find the missing girls. Believing the story that Megan had been influenced and tricked into running away with Candy, Art's boss pushes him to find the girls.

Art doesn't like the case. Too many holes. Too many unanswered questions. But Art takes the case and it isn't very long before he is knee deep in this dangerous game of deceit and murder.

But there's another game that's keeping Art from finding the two girls. The famous Santa Anas are howling over forty miles an hour, blowing their hot winds, carrying flames and embers across the Southland, and burning everything in their path. Art finds the girls, but it's the fire and The Wind  that leads them to a breathtaking climax.
