Part Time Papa
[country]

It's 5 o'clock on Friday night
Been working' through the week
62 hours no overtime
A side job I must seek!
Payment to one ex
Some more to the other
A little on each bill
Some things it just won't cover

Part Time Papa's on a roller coaster ride
Part Time Papa's always swallowing their pride
Part Time Papas won't let you see them cry
Part Time Papas, how their babies make them
high!

Well, I got a side job
But they'll have to understand
I can't come in this weekend
'Cause it's Papa time again
Now my little one's waiting
Looking out the window just to see
Quietly she whispers
"My Papa's coming for me!"
I don't know what he's driving
Cause his vehicles are changing
But my papa always makes it
No matter what he's rearranging
You see he's coming quite the
distance
You see I know I've rode along
But he's always so glad to see me
He'll be singing "Forever Young"

It seems he's always working
Even sometime when I'm there
His chest swells...when I kiss him
To hide his tears, he combs his hair!
We go riding on his Harley
Or catching crawdads in the stream
Sometimes we're just hanging out
When money's kind of lean

I put my arms around him
To the sky he holds his chin
And sometimes, only sometimes,
We dream our weekend never ends
Doesn't matter what he's driving
Or what kind of shirt he wears
I know he wants to best for me
Sometimes, it don't seem fair.

He sees an empty bedroom
And a lot of lonely toys
He calls it "sacred ground"
Says he misses all my noise
He hates to take me back to Mom's
But knows I'll be okay
He knows all of Mom's qualities
Some feeling he displays

Part Time Papa's on a roller coaster ride
Part Time Papa's always swallowing' their
pride
Part Time Papas won't let you see them cry
Part Time Papas, how their babies make them
high!

It's 5 a.m.; he's back at work
His weekend was so neat
He sees a part time papa
As he looks across the street
Who's picking up his baby
And he gets 'em for the week

He wonders what he's doing wrong
He's working every day
He's thinking about the fun he had
And why things are this way
Just yesterday he felt so strong
His babies hand in hand
Its back to work, ignore the jerks
Until Friday's here again

Part Time Papa's on a roller coaster ride
Part Time Papas really toughens up your hide
Part Time Papas try not to let you see them cry
Part Time Papas gonna make it through some how
Part Time Papas really stand out in a crowd
Part Time papas best not get their way
Part Time Papas, why the hell is it this
way????
Hey! It'll be okay!
For part-time Papas
It is just another day!

Comfortably Unstable -forgetaboutit
[rap]

Listen to the future
Let's not forget about it
I thought I was gonna die
I couldn't live without it

I used to cry a lot
but now I realy doubt it
you see life is way too short
don't try to go around it

Just always do your best
Don't try to keep up with the rest
Don't let them bring you down
Hey just forget about it

There's people out there striving
Always jiving
Shiny black Mercedes
Yeah, that's what they're driving

Working class is fairing
Carpenters are caring
Mechanics in their hot rods
With the stereos a-blaring

Now I'm Comfortably Unstable
About the situation
Dealers and the pimps
Gonna wreck this nation

Children shooting parents
It goes to litigation
Open up your heart
And get this information

Our planet's dying fast
The word is depravation
It's like inflammation
We got to stop listening
To this misinformation
When we gonna wake up
And protect creation

Machine guns blaring
But I'm still carrying
The words to lots of songs
Well I can hardly bear 'em
Old people and the kids, ya know
It's got to scare 'em

The people with the power
Bastards got a harem
They're wearing fancy clothes
You know I like to tear 'em
Comfortably Unstable
Yeah, that's where I'm at
It don't matter if you're skinny
Ugly, short or fat
Who taught you how to dress, boy?
On backwards is your hat
You need another piercing
Like the world is flat!

I hear you're really into
Taking care of cats
You don't like nats
They tell me that your papa's
Got some cool wolf tats!

Your parents had to split
Sometimes that's not the shit
Your papa's late again
He needs a carburetor kit
Your mama's working hard
So home alone you sit

Break out the CD collection
Or make your cell phone sweat
You're talking to your boyfriend
And you say, "You bet!
It's set
I'll be home on Sunday evening
And together we will get"

Times are changing
Your hormones raging
Your breaking down the walls
Of some new recreation

Keep yourself protected
On that new play station
Protect the nation
Make a real difference in this population

Now Comfortably Unstable
Plans on rearranging the situation
I'm stepping out and giving you
This new vibration
The super station
Kick it on your speakers
And we'll fight frustration.
Now just forget about it
I don't think so!
The punks and the bosses
Gonna have a go
Even if it's ugly
Hopefully we'll grow!

I'm Comfortably Unstable
This you need to know
We won't forget about it
Because our love will show
Keep tending to that garden
So the weeds can't grow

I'm Comfortably Unstable
But I'm getting old
Now I'm saying with your talent
You can take control
I know your heart is clear
So let the good times roll

I'm Comfortably Unstable
CU Forgetaboutit
I really doubt it
I know that you can do it
Just stand up and shout it
I'm Comfortably Unsatble and
This song's for you
keep your sky blue
Now it's up to you
The White Wolf really loves you
Yes, my friends, it true.
I'm Comfortably Unstable
Questions who are you?
