Jed's Law

The Old West is still alive in the mind of detective Jed Garrett. Jed is the great-great-grandson of Pat Garrett, the man who shot Billy the Kid. Now, Jed's on the L.A.P.D. where the brass dislike him. He's struggling to deal with the changing times and lower crime rate. But there's Collette Dalton a ruthless killer, and descendent of the notorious Dalton Gang, on her way to prison. Her kinfolk break her out and go on a rampage in L.A. to earn enough money so they can retire down in Mexico. The shootout at the end is reminiscent of "The Wild Bunch," only it takes place in the mean back alleys of Long Beach.
